As a Marine Corps Infantry veteran and former firefighter, I believed I was ready for anything. However, starting and growing my business proved more demanding than I imagined. Still, I persisted, adapting and improvising, and my small idea from the car trunk transformed into an award-winning $30MM company.
Though my military and firefighting experiences instilled tenacity and courage, I lacked two crucial elements: a plan and support from fellow warriors.
