Session 2 — Jan/Feb Topics $240 per 6-meeting session Intermediate Meeting Schedule (12:30pm CST): Meeting 1 (Strategic Topic Mapping & Burdens of Proof): Sunday, December 13, 2026 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Transition students from basic arguments to a holistic view of the debate arena, identifying burdens of proof and systemic clash. Meeting 2 (Building a Warranted Case - The 5-Step Model): Sunday, January 3, 2027 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Teach the advanced 5-step contention model to connect physical actions to high-magnitude national security and economic impacts. Meeting 3 (Rebuttal Strategy - Defensive vs. Offensive Refutation): Sunday, January 10, 2027 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Teach the four essential refutation weapons to execute systematic, line-by-line rebuttals. Meeting 4 (Strategic Question Funneling & Flowing Systems): Sunday, January 17, 2027 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Master "question funneling" in Crossfire to secure concessions and carry those concessions into rebuttals. Meeting 5 (The Summary Speech - Strategic Collapsing): Sunday, January 31, 2027 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Teach the art of "rebuttal collapse"—abandoning weak arguments under time pressure to focus entirely on winning points. Meeting 6 (Final Focus & Tournament Showcase): Sunday, February 7, 2027 — 12:30pm (CT) Goal: Establish pre-round routines, refine final focus speeches, and practice adapting to diverse judges.
